Prayer Request December 2007
Decorations are taken out of the closets, Christmas trees are being set up, stockings are hung. Houses and yards are being illuminated with many lights and people get anxious over buying presents, however the greatest Gift we received long ago and is everlasting.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

A friendly reminder for Christian husbands and fathers: Biblical patriarchy is not a blank check to walk over one's wife, but rather a summons to embrace the servant leadership exemplified by Jesus Christ. =)

It's selfish me again.
I could use some wisdom from above about getting a long-term lease on an apartment. Part me thinks I should go for cheapest option and just pay off my student loans as expeditiously as possible. I also might look at not one jobs but two jobs for a season and just be a workoholic so the future might be less burdensome. Also, I need to get my heart right, and be more attentive in my devotional and prayer life, and to discard sin in my life. Thanks for prayer.

Please pray for our youngest, April. She is 7 months pregnant now and has to go to hospital due to feeling very sick and with a terrible back pain. Thank y'all so much!

Dear Father God, we commit Corry & Kc's daughter April into your Almighty Hands right now. Please watch over her and heal her from her back pain. May Your peace and joy be with her and her family. In Jesus' name we pray, amen!

Please be with April now. Strengthen her. Remove her back pain. Restore her. Refresh her. Please protect her unborn babe too.
Oh Lord, please look after baby Casey too. May he feel Your Presence and Love.

Thank y'all for praying. April has got such a bad urinate tract infection, it was going to her liver. She has got anti biotics and we pray she will recover quickly. She is ok and the baby is fine!
God is good, loving and caring. Praise to Him!
Lord, praise you for having Your loving hand of protection upon April. Thank you for guiding the doctors in knowing what was wrong and for quickly treating it. I pray you'll continue to have your hand upon April...that she'll be able to get adequate rest and fluids and will heal quickly.

Father, i pray for ryan. i pray that you will give him wisdom in the decisions he's going to make. lead him to the path you wanted him to take.
i also would like to thank you for keeping april out of danger now. i pray that you will keep her safe for the rest of her pregnancy.
Father, i also am lifting up kaeli to you. Father i pray for your healing touch to be with her. heal her body, Lord.

Father, again we lift up Kaeli to You. Our heart breaks seeing the suffering of this little one. Please, stretch out Your healing hand, give her strength and comfort in You, as well as to all her loved ones. Guide the doctors who are treating her. We ask for a full and quick recover, all in accordance with Your will. In Jesus' precious name, we ask. Amen!
Please pray for my husband's great grandfather, who is 101, and is in the hospital, most likely about to die. Great-grandpa Tony is a believer and at his age, this is not completely unexpected. Pray for peace and a painless passing. Pray for our family, and extended family as we deal with this challenging time.

We again lift up Kaeli to you, and ask that you comfort her, and lay your healing hand upon her. Lord, please comfort Angela's grandfather Tony and family during this difficult time, and alleviate her grandfather's suffering. We find consolation in your eternal promises, and we all await an entrance supplied to us eternal in the Heavens.

We lift up Great-grandpa Toni to You. If it is Your will to take him home, we ask for a smooth and painless end of his journey on this earth. Comfort and strengthen all his loved ones with Your everlasting love and the knowledge they will see him again.
All this we ask in Jesus' precious name. Amen!
We ask your prayers for Jenny and Roy and their unborn baby. The baby is having trouble with it's kidneys and is in the jack-knife position without room to move or grow. If it is not getting better within a few weeks, the doctors are considering terminating the pregnancy. Please pray for God's grace and mercy and blessings upon this baby and it's parents.

This is the greatest Christmas movie ever made! Enjoy! It's a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American film produced and directed by Frank Capra. The film takes place in the fictional town of Bedford Falls shortly after World War II and stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man whose attempted suicide on Christmas Eve gains the attention of his guardian angel, Clarence who is sent to help him in his hour of need.
When George and Mary hear a bell ring on their Christmas tree; their daughter exclaims, "Look, daddy! Teacher says, every time a bell rings, an Angel gets his wings."
Merry Christmas to all! I wrote a few days ago that my husband's great grandfather was ill, well he passed away yesterday (Christmas Eve). He was 101 year old, so this is not a shock. But please pray for comfort for our family as we mourn the loss of Great-Grandpa Tony.

Father, i pray for grandpa toni's family. comfort them, Lord. it's too sad for the whole family not being able to spend Jesus' birthday with their beloved. be with them, Father, touch their hearts.
