More often than not, we like to set a time-limit, due to our own impatience. But God has the perfect plan at the perfect time for us. He will provide all we need, and then some. Even the strength to be patient!

I hate to be the one who asks for prayer for myself. But I want to renew my commitment to being a better servant of God. The devotional by Charles Stanley I placed on my blog reflects that commitment.
I am making a transition professionally and geographically soon, and I need wisdom from on high, and earnestly hope for blessing in that endeavor and a door of opportunity too. I need a door to full fellowship in a decent church to open. I need to be more like Jesus Christ, more apt to follow the golden rule, more possessed of a heartfelt humility, more apt to shun mindless diversions and trivial humor, and I need to more be attentive to spiritual concerns.
Father, i pray for ryan. i pray that you'll give him wisdom, keep him safe as he moves to a different place and open his spiritual ears and eyes to hear and see your purpose for his life. i pray for guidance and blessings to be upon ryan. thank you Jesus.
Father, we lift up Ryan to You. May You guide and lead him, open doors and strengthen him in his walk with You. May You bless him with a home, a church and spiritual wellfare.
Father, we also thank You for giving Pia the strength to do what's best and in accordance with Your will. Please, bless her abundantly with Your grace and mercy.
All in accordance with Your will. In Jesus' precious name, we ask. Amen!
please pray for christian marriages being attacked by the enemy. i have received quite a number of emails and text messages from friends both here and abroad about conflicts between husbands and wives. may God breathe His life into these marriages. may the enemy not succeed in destroying marriages blessed by God. i have a heart to pray for these couples because my own marriage is being attacked too. please stand with me in prayer. thank you.
Pia, I will pray for your marriage, and that of others. I really need the humility for marriage when God opens the door to me. Christians sometimes think it quickly leads to a higher spiritual plane, but many times it brings new challenges. I would much prefer a spouse who made Jesus the foremost man in her life, because she would just be disappointed by me, a lowly sinner. Our consolation is that if two believers in Christ will seek the Holy Spirit's intercession diligently, marriage can be richly complimentary towards their mutual sanctification. It takes work, and giving and giving self-sacrificially. Oh, wait, I am not married yet, what do I know? =)

Father, i lift up to you amy. you said in your word that by your stripes we are healed. nothing is impossible with you, God, and nothing is too hard for you to do. i ask of you, dear Jesus, heal my sister here. make her whole again. give her the strength she needs at this time. i pray that you will also strengthen her husband and little one. Father, i pray for wisdom for the doctors who're handling her case. may all the meds she's taking be an instrument for her healing. Father, you are a God of many chances. may you have compassion for amy and heal her, Lord God. we believe in your mighty works and your faithfulness. thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. may you bless this family now and always. we love you, God.

Please pray for my cousin as she has decided to live as a lesbian. To complicate things she is living with her "girlfriend" who also happens to be a friend of mine from my high school years. I just found all this out yesterday and it is overwhelming. My cousin has a little boy from a previous marriage and I feel so bad for him as he has been exposed this this perverted and sinful lifesytle. Please pray that the Lord will work in the lives of my cousin and her "girlfriend" and they will turn to Lord and from their sinful lifestyle. Also pray for protection for my cousin's little boy. Thanks...

Father, cover this little boy with Your divine protection, oh God. no one can really change a person, Lord, but you can. i pray that You will change the heart of this little boy's mom. change her to be a woman and mother after your own heart. Father, give her the grace to hear Your voice and obey Your promptings. i know that this situation is not too late to change. You, God, can turn things around for the better. we trust in You, Father. in Jesus' name, amen.
