Prayer Request March 2007

We may not always like what others do or say, or the things that come our way, and our endurance and patience are often called upon. We may want to take a break every now and then, because we feel drained, tired and/or had enough.
God's love is an endless source of energy and strength. He nourishes our heart, mind, body and soul, so that we have what we need. when we need it.

Jeremiah 31:25
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

We ask your prayers for several of our friends.
Two of our close blogger-friends are in a very tough situation. One of them is facing to loose her job in a few months, and the other one's husband is without work and things are getting tight.

Another friend's father died unexpectedly yesterday, after having had surgery a few days before and seeminly doing great.

Another friend's father has Parkinsons Disease and had a stroke, leaving him with a paralized oesophagus. He refuses a feeding-tube and is ready for all this to end.

Please also pray for all the families that lost a loved one during yesterday's storms.

Father, You know what's needed in each of these situations. May You strenghten all involved. Lead them to where You want them to go, give comfort and healing. All in accordance with Your will. In Jesus' precious name, we ask. Amen!

Please pray for my cousin, Jason, 36, who was just diagnosed with rapidly spreading cancer which began in his bronchial tubes and has spread to his brain and his bones. May God's love bring him comfort and peace.

Father, we ask your blessings on Jason. If it's in Your will, please stretch out Your healing hand and cure him of this disease. Give him comfort and strength in Your love, grace and mercy. Please, also strengthen his family and give all of them what they need to go through this.

We also keep praying for Pia and Jec. Father, You know what's needed. Please open doors and bring this to a quick and good end.

In Jesus' precious Name, we ask. Amen!

I just received this email from my daughter-in-law, Andrea:

Good morning!

Please pray for our little guy this morning....he has an upper respitory virus and is having some "asthma attacks"....he woke up screaming, "Get it off me!" and pulling at the back of his neck, poor guy! We are still trying to get a nebulizer for him and if he gets bad we'll just have to go to the ER.

Pray for healing....and wisdom for me as I make decisions for him this morning!

Thank you!!

Trusting Him with everything,
Andrea

Father, please watch over this little guy, give him healing and a quick relief from this illness. Craddle him in Your hand and comfort him with Your everlasting love. Guide and lead the parents, show them which way You want them to go and give them wisdom and knowledge and strength. All in accordance with Your will.
All these things we ask, in Jesus' precious name. Amen!

Please pray for us this coming weekend, that God fills the hearts of all involved with love and doors are opened. That He strengthens and guides us to do and say the things that are needed and helpful. That He may give us patience, understanding and wisdom.

Got a call from my sister yesterday morning. My mom was rushed to the ICU for kidney failure and heart attack. I called my dad this morning and asked how my mom was doing. He said she's stable and responding positively to the dialysis. Please pray for my mom's fast and complete recovery. Please do continue to pray for Jeric and our marriage too. I just don't know how much more I can take.

My mom has been giving a bleak prognosis with her advancing cancer (non-hodgkins lymphoma), as it has spread to her windpipe.

I lift up the burdens of everyone on this forum.
