Prayer Request November 2007

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. No doubt we all will fall short in one of these at times. But God is gracious and merciful and even our short-comings He uses to teach us where we need to repent and better ourselves. His blessings are everywhere and in everything!

John 15:2
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

I need prayer for my living situation. I work all the time and I am trying to find an apartment and get out of a bad neighborhood that I reluctantly moved into to take a new job. I could use some providential blessing in my new job since it is in sales.

We would like to ask your prayers for Angela's husband Bobby:

"It has been real... it has been approx. 2.5 yrs, two arms with tendonitis, working on carpal tunnel, approx. 7 different blogs, and lots of challenging good healthy dialogue. I need a real break from blogging, one of my problems is that I seem to be addicted to it, seriously, so for me my best hope is not to have a blog. My primary reason for doing this is actually my physical health, I need my arms, to work, live, etc. Blogging, at this stage is jeapordizing my health, therefore it is time for me to quit... for a long while. I have tried voice recognition software, it doesn’t really work for blogging, exercises for my arms, and that helps; but I really need to just stop for a good season of time."

May God stretch His healing hand out to him and strengthen this family throughout this trial.

Please also remember Kristi and her family. Kristi's great-aunt passed away a few days ago. May God comfort them in this loss.

Thank y'all.

Lord, we lift up little Kaeli to you. You are Jehovah-Rophe, The Lord Who Heals, and there is no sickness that cannot be cured by your miraculous power. Have mercy on this little angel, and shower her with your tender mercies and lay your healing hand upon her, Lord.

Please bless the various families in mourning of those senior saints that have entered into eternal rest.

Lord, You hear our prayers and cries, and we give You all glory for Your power and majesty.

In Jesus' name,
Amen!

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
–2 Corinthians 5:1
