Prayer Request August 2010

Incredible, how God watches over us. We may not be aware of it; at the time it may seem like what is happening is very disturbing, upsetting, stressful and trying and we may not understand why it happens when it does.

Looking back however, we can see God's love, care and protection in all of it. Things would have gone terribly wrong if God hadn't watched out for and over us. It all happens for a reason, in accordance with His will, and in His perfect time!

29.Psalm 5:11
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.

These 2 paragraphs are speaking to me very directly and personally now. Someone has been spitting outside our home. We really want this rude unhygienic action to stop immediately. It's very disturbing, upsetting, stressful and trying. We don't understand why it is happening. But we understand that our Almighty Father is handling the situation as best as He can. Praise Him! =)

We ask your prayers for Amber's friend Doug, who was taken in to the ER this morning with a bleeding stomach.

Please, also pray for his mother who is in the hospital as well with severe COPD.

We ask y'all to please remember Doug in your prayers again. He is back in the hospital with internal bleeding and the doctors still don't know where the bleeding is. Doug has already been given several units of blood. Please pray the doctors will find it soon and will be able to stop it. May God guide and lead them and grant Doug a full and quick recovery.

Please also remember both Amber and Doug's family in your prayers. May God comfort them, give them peace, encouragement and strengthen them in their faith. All in accordance with His will and in Jesus' name we ask. Amen!
