Prayer Request December 2009
It is not always easy to muster up patience, but it is part of love. We like to make things happen instead of waiting until everything falls in place. What we tend to forget is that by forcing our will and/or wants, we often create a mess or add to it.
This month we celebrate God's greatest gift to us. We buy presents out of love to show our love, but by practising the fruits of the Spirit we show more love then any present every will.
We can have patience through faith. God will do His wonderful work, but it will happen in His time and His timing is always perfect!
2 Thessalonians 3:5
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

Here's wishing everyone a very blessed Christmas! ;-)
Bobby has posted an update along with a list of their needs and his address for those who can offer financial assistance.
Hi everyone! Bobby's chemo port was placed yesterday and it went smoothly. The doctors and nurses at OHSU were so amazing! We felt very well cared for. I know this was the Lord providing for us! Also, a friend from Multnomah was there as her husband was having a minor procedure done and she came and sat with me; this was a great comfort to me. I know the Lord orchestrated that as well! What a loving and caring God we serve, He thinks of the smallest details! Our next hurdle is Bobby's CT and PET scans on Monday. Althought the drs are confindent that the cancer hasn't spread, they are doing what good drs do and having Bobby scanned, just to make sure. Please, please pray the scans come back CLEAR! On Tuesday Bobby starts his inpatient chemo up at OHSU. He'll be in for 48 hrs having the chemo continuously infused into his body. Pray that his body tolerates the chemo well and he doesn't have any yucky side affects. Thanks so, so much for all your prayers and support. We are so humbled by all your love! Phil. 4:4-7
