Prayer Request November 2009

Thanksgiving is not far away and we have so much to be thankful for. Not one day passes without His blessings; some may be small, others may be huge. It is easy to overlook them and thank and praise Him for all His love and care.

It may not be a bad idea to take some time at the end of the day and reflect upon it. Look for the blessings in all that occurred and you may become aware of some you had not noticed.

May we always be mindful of His goodness and be grateful, give thanks and praise God for all His provisions.

Psalm 75:1
We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.

Pilot called his dad and I early this morning (Thursday 11/5/09) (2:30 am our time) and asked for prayer. It is something he cannot tell us anything about except to ask us to pray. I know that God knows exactly what the situation is and knows exactly what to do. Would you please pray:

1) that God would be honored and glorified above all things

2) that God would put a hedge of safety and protection around our son.

3) that whatever the situation is, that good would come from it

4) if there has been a flying accident that everyone's life would be spared (I am not saying there has been)

5) if there has been engagement with the enemy then I pray that all our troops returned back to their base of operations safely.

6) and any other request which the Holy Spirit may lay on your heart as a parent of a child, or a sibling of a sibling, etc.

Thank you from the depths of my heart for lifting this up before His mighty throne of grace.

Claire

Corry, I'm not posting this on my blog because I do not want to compromise anything with his mission, or where he is. Thank you dear Sister for having this place to come. Pilot Mom

Dear brothers and sisters,
We ask your prayers for the husband of our dear prayer partner Angela. He will be having biopsy done due to a mass they found in his pelvis. Please pray for a good report and for strength, encouragement and comfort for him and his family.

We also ask your prayers for our other dear prayer partner Pecheur and his wife. Their first baby will arrive with a C-section tomorrow morning. Please pray all will go well and that both mother and baby will be healthy.

Thank y'all so much!

My husband just received news that he has a large "mass" in his lower, right abdomen. At first they were testing for a hernia, but instead found the mass. We are nervous and scared, but trusting in the Lord for a good outcome. The next step is to biopsy the mass. We would appreicate your prayers! Our main prayer is that the mass will be benign. Also, we are praying that the biopsy will be within the week and we just want to move on this quickly! Also, pray for wisdom for the doctors. My husband is very scared, of course. We serve a loving and gracious God and we know that he doesn't allow anything that isn't for our BEST. Thanks again for your prayers! My husband's name is Bobby and my name is Angela.

Blessings in Christ,

Angela

Dear Brothers and Sisters I’m so thankful today for each of you and for your continued prayers. May God continue to bless you all abundantly!

Two days ago I could not imagine a way that we could be reunited with our grand children. Last night all three slept here in our home and plan to be here for two weeks! The circumstances are a bit trying but, as we all know, there’s nothing too difficult for our gracious God! Thank you all so much for your prayers and support in this these past months. Please continue to remember our family.

Bro. Bobby should be having surgery with the next two weeks and he and his family need our continued prayers. He’s posted the details here.
