Prayer Request May 2010
Comfort; when taken the time to consider it, we come to the understanding that comfort is the peace we find in the reassurance that, in time, all will turn out for the best. It is only a phase in life which has to be gone through. That too will pass.
Having family and friends, who will give us that comfort when it is needed, is a tremendous help, but even when there is no one around in a time of need we know God is always with us. That is the greatest comfort of all!
2 Corinthians 1:4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

We would like y'all to pray for Bobby Grow as he will have surgery May 6th to remove the remainder of the cancer tumor.
May God guide the hands of the surgeons, comfort Bobby and his family and grant him a full and speedy recovery.

Father, i lift up to you bobby grow. i ask that you guide the doctors as they perform the surgery on may 6th. Lord, i ask for full and speedy recovery for bobby. and Lord, i ask that you comfort the family and bobby too knowing that you are in full control of the situation. Lord, i pray that you embrace them as they go through this situation as a family. thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. in Jesus' name, amen.

It went extremely well and his recovery is going amazingly so far.
He still will need some time to fully recover, but we are so thankful for God watching over him, the surgeons and his family.
May He continue to do so and grant Bobby a full and speedy recovery.
We would like to ask your prayers for a dear blogger friend of ours. She is in a lot of turmoil and has to cope with a very bad situation.
May God give her comfort, encouragement, guidance and leadership and resolve this matter as quickly as possible. All in accordance with His will.

Lord, help her i pray. comfort her, bless her, heal her. i know that there is no mess you can't fix. i ask, oh Lord, fix this bad situation she is in. guide her to the right path and i pray for a resolution on this matter very soon.. We ask your prayers for the father of a friend of our oldest daughter. He had a colonoscopy yesterday and they found two cancer polyps and was rushed in to surgery early this morning due to bleeding. May God guide the surgeons hands, strengthen him and his family and grant him a full and quick recovery.

Father, i pray that you be with this man and comfort him. Lord, i pray that you guide the hands of the doctors performing the surgery on him. comfort his family too. Father, not our will but yours be done, but i believe that even right now, you are already doing something in his situation. thank you that you are in charge. i pray all these in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
