Prayer Request October 2009

The look of the Prayer List has changed; it was long overdue in my perception and I hope it is to your likings as well. It took a while before I was able to get around to it. Between work and everyday life, I never seemed to find any time. It took breaking out of the cycle to make a change.

Following in Jesus' footsteps requires making a life-altering change. It takes an effort to break out of the cycle and live life differently. It is never too late and it is never too early to do so, but once that change is made, the reward is beyond imagination.

Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

After being hit so hard by a typhoon already, the Philippines are expected to be hit by another one coming Saturday. This 'super typhoon' is anticipated to inflict more damage by heavy rainfall and severe winds.

Please pray with us for all those in its path. May God protect them, keep them save, comfort and encourage them.

Thank you!

Father, nothing escapes You and You know our hearts, our hurt and our concerns. We ask You for wisdom, guidance and leadership.

We are grateful for all You have and are giving us and ask You for continuous blessings on all our loved ones. In Jesus' precious name we ask. Amen!

We ask your prayers for a collegue of Kc. She is in the hospital with liver failure and the doctors don't think she will make it through the weekend.

Please remember her and her family in your prayers. Thank you so much.

I love the new looks of this blog Corry!! I can relate to you. Between work, ministry and everyday life, it's hard to find time to blog. But I hope to get back into it again.

Father God, I too commit the family of Kc's colleague Amy into your almighty hands. Please embrace them with your love, and comfort them. In Jesus' precious name, amen
