Prayer Request March 2010

It is inevitable to go through this life without getting hurt. Words and/or actions may cut deep and our initial reaction would be to strike back because our feelings are so overwhelming. That is our sign to stop, step back and focus on the fruits of the Spirit.

No one, but us, is obligating ourselves to give an immediate response. It is better to take the time to let things settle and think about what would be best and needed and let those involved know as well, explaining the reason why. In the end it will turn out for the best.

Christ leads by example and He gave us all the directions we need to follow in His footsteps.

Galatians 5:22-24
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

I have an important job interview coming up for a claims adjuster position having passed the exam phase. I'm getting married. I'm stressed. I am in grad school at the Univ. of Southern California. I finished a class, put the rest on hold. And I am all around in need of prayer. I just got a lot on me.
