Prayer Request July 2008

Greed comes in many forms. It displays itself as a want. A want for riches, power, control, or just something we want to have as a possession. We can not always have what we want. Dwelling on what we don't have, will only result in misery, unhappiness, and in oblivion to all the blessings we are given.

Gaining wisdom and understanding, is not something we can buy. Those are blessings from God, which should never be overlooked.

Job 28:18
No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, For the price of wisdom is above rubies.

We ask you to pray with us for a collegue of Kc.

She has been very ill for quite a while and had a scan done last week. We don't know the specifics yet, only that the doctor told her they found something and it was not good. She is very upset and will see the doctor again today. Your prayers will be highly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

We saw the doctor at 7pm tonight he told us that Joe had FLATLINED for 3.7 seconds. The doctor did not tell us when this happened. Doctor thinks it was caused by an interaction with "Abaitapace" medication that regulates his heart rate and the other medicine "Altenol/chlor" for blood pressure. Doctor had cut back on the dose of Abaitapace, but doesn't know what is going on. If Joe continues to have these Flatlines then doctor said he would have to have a pacemaker. So For now doctor wants him to be monitored for 24 to 48 hours. Joe isn't able to come home just yet.
