Prayer Request April 2008

Many storms will occur in life. They will try to uproot us and tear us away from our foundation. Some may overwhelm us and instill fear, but the trust in Our Lord will give us strength to withstand it, come out stronger and grow even more in faith.

Jeremiah 17:7-8
7 “ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

We would like to ask your prayers for Patrick and Noor again. The scan last Friday showed something near his breast bone and a biopsy will be done coming Tuesday to determine whether it's cancer or not. All expectations are the cancer has returned.

Thank you so much!

Lord, I pray your presence will be deeply felt by both Patrick and Noor as they enter this week. Guide the doctors as they perform Patrick's biopsy tomorrow. I pray that if there is even one cancerous cell in Patrick's body, that You'll remove it completely.
Please blanket and wrap around Patrick and Noor with your peace, comfort and strength.

Amen.

I got a new job as an Executive Assistant to HR Generalist for a telecom company. It should tide me over for now. Not the law firm I was looking for, but it's good experience. I have a lot of administrative work and have to offer site tours to new employees. I feel a little better about anxiety now. Thanks for prayer. I'll remember your burdens and cares, and lift them up to our Lord and Savior.

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, I lift up the burdens of my sister in Christ Kristi to You. Lord, I ask that You would be a source of encouragement to her amidst life's trying times. I ask that you would lift her up in paths of righteousness for your Name's sake. Be a light and lamp unto her path, be shield before her feet, and take her into Your protective care and help her to trust in Your providential provision. In Jesus' Name, I pray, Amen!

Please pray for my mom. the doctors gave her bad reports regarding her health. she's believing for her healing. she was just recently saved. please stand with us in agreement for her healing. pray also for my dad's salvation because sometimes he's giving my mom a hard time because of his attitude. don't get me wrong. my dad is a good man but because he's not saved yet, he tends to have trashy attitude especially when he gets drunk. lastly, please continue to stand with me in agreement for the restoration of my marriage. thank y'all and God bless.

Glory to God and many thanks to y'all for praying for Patrick. It helped! The results so far are that all 3 patheologists who examined it, are convinced it is no cancer. They suspect a swollen gland or maybe a little knot in a muscle. Nothing serious. Praise The Lord!!

I would like to ask your prayers for my family on my mother's side.
Yesterday I learned that my grandmother had died last Sunday, at the respectable age of 102 years old.
There is a lot of friction in the family already and this might make it worse.
May God's love overcome all of it and bring them closer together. May He strengthen and comfort them with this loss.

Thank y'all so much.
