Prayer Request June 2008

Life can be like a wild river. Sometimes you can drift on calm waters, enjoying the scenery, but you never know what lies around the bend. Before you know it, you are in for a bumpy ride and the wild waters are about tip you over and pull you down. You struggle and fight to survive and reach your destination.

Even finding ourselves in trying to defeat the wild waters of this life, we have faith to keep us afloat and we know, God is always right by our side and nothing escapes Him.

Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

We learned this morning there was a major earthquake hitting the Phillipinnes. Since Pia, one of our prayer partners lives there, we would like to ask your prayers upon her and everyone else affected by this quake.

Thanks so much.

Thank You Father for watching over Pia. We ask Your blessings on all others who are affected by this earthquake. In Jesus' precious name. Amen!

My Father-in-Law goes to the doctor today to schedule surgery for unclogging his arteries. Please, remember him in your prayers.

Our son-in-law's grandfather goes into surgery tomorrow to have gallstones removed. He already is physically in a bad condition and could use your prayers as well.

Our dear sister and prayer partner Kristi made a concerning post. She and her family could use our prayers and support.

God knows the needs in each of these situations. Nothing escapes Him. May He see to those needs, according to His will, and may He strengthen everyone involved with His love, care and peace.

Thank y'all so much for praying with us.
