Prayer Request October 2006
We know God works in mysterious ways. Sometimes we are totally in the dark and have no clue where to go or what to do, when suddenly Our Father shines His light and illuminates the path He wants us to go. It's like a light-switch. Even though we may not see what's around us, we can have confidence and take comfort in the guiding light, knowing that where it leads us, is for the best.
Isaiah 42:16
I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.

I can't tell you how that moved me today. God bless all these prayer warriors Lord :)
Hope you are all well!
Dear brothers and sisters,
We're very busy at present but there are many who are in need our prayer and support. Please continue to pray with us for those who are on the mission field, some of which are our own prayer partners here.
Jel sent the following request and I'm forwarding it to you as well.

Subject: URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Dear friends and family,
I'm asking you to please pray for my friend's 3 year old daughter, Jessie who fell off the top bunk of her bed and hit her head on a hard floor today. She is in serious condition and had to be "mercy flown" via helecopter to Orlando because of bleeding and severe brain damage. The family are strong Christians but this is very frightening and they are understandably shaken up. Pray for miraculous healing and for peace. Please also feel free to forward this email to anyone or any prayer chain you know for prayer. I will update you as I learn more. Thank you.
In Christ,
Thank you all so much. We appreciate and love each of you.
Thank you KC,
the prayer request, that KC talk's about, was e-mailed to me from a friend, and to them from Becky Joie
thank you for your prayers for this family!
Bless you Nan and everyone! Like KC & Corry, I am also very busy at the moment. But you are in my thoughts.
Father, now I specifically pray for Jessie who fell off her bed. Lord, please heal her from her severe brain damage. May you watch over her and protect her. In Jesus' name we pray, amen!
Please keep praying for Patrick. The removed tissue was for the greatest part cancer. He will have to have another 2 weeks of chemo, starting next week.
Thank y'all so much for your prayers, love and care. God bless y'all.
Please pray for the family and friends of Rick Daniel, a former coworker and friend of mine who passed away suddenly yesterday from a heart attack. I'm completely shocked by this news and feel so far away and unable to help. I know his wife and two daughters would appreciate the prayers.
Thanks

May God bless all. He knows what's needed in each and every life and situation. According to His will. In Jesus' precious name. Amen!
Dear Corry, thanks for your prayers for all of us. May God bless you and KC, as well as your two daughters who got married recently. Congratulations.

Hallelujah!
amen! In God we trust!! Praise the Lord!
Hi all, I need more financial support and partners for my role as a mission mobilizer with World Team. I am also considering a 'tent-maker' role in network marketing. Please pray for God's guidance and direction, and that I can be crystal clear about His will!
EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST!!!
My sister Michelle has just gone into labor and has just gone in for her c-Section to deliver Baby Abby! Please pray for her as her blood pressure is very high and she is very nervous! Some of you might remember this whole story from my blog a while back... 9 months has passed so fast and I pray this baby will be happy and healthy! Thanks for your prayers!
Please remember Matthew. This request is posted at his site
Date for Mission Trip
It looks like I shall be going to Japan in the second week of January. I shall be going for two months. This is provisional on satisfacory references being obtained, of course.
I need your prayers, people. Please pray for:
- Financial provision.
- Safe travel.
- My ability to adapt to different circumstances and situations.
- Humility and willingness to serve.
- Good relations with the missionaries and others that I meet.
I think my Dyspraxia is likely to make this harder for me than it would be for other people in a number of ways. This really is going to be a big challenge.
sorry this is so long in coming but i wanted to thank you all for your prayers. Sister and baby are doing GREAT! I will be blogging again soon. Law school is hectic. Thanks for keeping me in prayer!
