Prayer Request July 2006

As time passes by, generations come and go. Remains of their existence can be found everywhere. Buildings, that once stood so proud, have crumbled and fallen, eaten away by the elements. But God's living Word stands throughout time and is just as strong and powerful now as in the beginning.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Dear Heavenly Father

Another person's Mummy is having lung cancer. We won't ask why. We'll just trust You and lean on You once again.

Our lives and loves are in Your Hand. You care for us and our loved ones. You're taking care of all the tiny details in our lives.

You're in charge even when a storm is brewing in the horizon.

Thank you, Lord.
Thank you, Jesus.

In Jesus' name we pray.

Amen.

O Lord!
These two very special mothers' days are numbered
Will they live to see their grandchildren grow up?
Will they live to carry their great-grandchildren?
Their pain will be more excruciating
Their breath will be shorter and shallower
Their appetite will be gone
Their sleep will be more precious

O Lord!
We won't ask why anymore
There are more questions than answers
Our questioning must turn into trusting
Trusting that they will be more comfortable
They will feel loved and cherished
They will know You personally
They will acknowledge You as their Personal Saviour and Lord

O Lord!
You hear our cries
You see our tears
You know our pleads
You understand our aches
You carry our problems
You shoulder our burdens
You sooth our pains

Thank you, Lord.
Thank you, Jesus.

We must continue to trust You!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus,

Thanks for your prayers. And I appreciate the niche online community of Christians we have here. I am blessed with the presence of some real prayer warriors.

Please lift up my father as he is having a bad circulatory problem with his leg, which is turning purple. My mom said he plans on going to the hospital tomorrow perhaps for treatment.

Every blessing in Him,
Ryan

Dear Lord

Thank you so much for being our Heavenly Father. We can never thank You enough.

Thank you so much for our earthly parents. We are very grateful for all their love, care, concern and guidance. They have done so much for us. O Lord! Please bless them with strong bodies and sound minds. We pray that our parents will get to know You more personally. If they haven't accepted You as their personal Saviour yet, we pray that their hearts will be softened to realise that they need You and You love them very much.

O Lord! We would like to pray for Ryan's Daddy. Please heal his leg. We pray that the circulatory system in his body, especially his leg, will be smooth and perfect. Please comfort him, Lord. Please guide the doctor so that the best medical treatment is given. Lord, we pray that the medication will be effective and there won't be any side effects. O Lord! Please be with Ryan's Mummy too. May she feel Your presence and peace too. You love Ryan's parents very much.

Thank you, Lord.
Thank you, Jesus.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I'm so sorry that I've been MIA lately. Please keep me in your prayers. I had my wisdom teeth out last Thursday and I've been so sick since. Throwing up everyday and in terrible pain. I've developed dry socket and I still haven't been able to leave the house since... This has been very trying and I am in despair. I know that there are so many people out there with much bigger problems but it would mean a lot if you could keep me in your prayers. You are all in mine. Thanks
nan
