Prayer Request June 2006

Sometimes we grow weary of life's tribulations and trials. At those times it's comforting and reassuring that Our Lord is always there to give us rest, also, that He has prepared a place for us in His and Our Father's house to come home to, after this life.

Father, we thank you for the prayers you have answered and we ask you to grant each and every one we have, according to Your will. In Jesus' name. Amen.

John 14:2
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Dear Heavenly Father

"You said You'd come and share all my sorrows
You said You'd be there for all my tomorrows
I came so close to sending You away
But just like You promised, You came here to stay
I just had to pray

And Jesus said, 'Come to the water, stand by my side
I know you are thirsty, you won't be denied
I felt every tear drop when in darkness you cried
And I strove to remind you, that for those tears I died.' "

O Lord, thank you for all the blessings and challenges in our lives.
Teach us to trust and obey You more and more each day.
We pray all these in Jesus' name.
Amen!

I received this disturbing request for prayers from our dear sister Andrea:

I received a threatening phone call after passing out my Bible Study invitations to the neighbor's and also a complaint is going to be filed against me by the home owner's association.
I would appreciate your prayers. Can you please pass this request along to your prayer blog? It has me shaken up a bit.

Father, would You please protect and shield Andrea from those who try to prevent her from spreading Your word. Strengthen and comfort her and make a way for her to do this, according to Your will. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Lord, please protect Andrea in her Bible study ministry, and give her wisdom, patience and strength.

In Jesus' name. Amen!

Our Father has responded to your prayers on my behalf regarding the Bible Study, more information to follow. Now, however, please pray for my son because he has gotten a fairly serious eye injury. We have to return to the eye doctor again tomorrow & see a retina specialist. Please pray for rapid healing without complications. Thank you.

Lord,

Be with Pia. Help her. Let her feel better.

Amen.

We could use some prayer also. Just a lot of things coming to a head. Our big exam is coming up. It doesn't mean a lot, but for our own selves we want to do good on it. Several other items that would take awhile to explain.

Thanks for your prayers. Lady R is now doing fine. It appears she is allergic to some food product. Fortunately, we did not have to go to the hospital this time. And thankful she was able to make it home before getting sick.

Greetings in the name of our mutual Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

A wise man once said ministry is praying for others when we most assuredly need prayer for ourselves.

Please know that while my preference is for praying aloud or praying in the recesses of my mind, your burdens are high and lifted up. I have followed your requests, off and on, throughout the month, and will continue to in July.

I am planning on moving to a better job market in the near future and I look for God's blessing and enabling in that search. Likewise, I am trying to guard against a bad attitude creeping upon me in the face of life's burdens.

Trust in God's providential care. I welcome any news of answered prayer and praises.

Every Blessing in Him,
Ryan

And the LORD said to him: "I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually."

Praise You Father, for answering our prayers for improvement of my health. You gave me a miracle!

Thank You Father, for answering our prayers concerning our youngest. You are giving us another chance to be an example and testimony and to help her change her life for the best, where she can be happy and have a life. You made it possible where it seemed impossible!

Thank You Father, for healing Pecheur's wife and for easing Pia's burdens. Thank You for the good news on Andrea's son, that his eye and vision will be fully healed and restored.

Thank You Father, for being there constantly, even when our faith is low. Thank You for always giving us what we need. Thank You for loving us.

We know that with and in You, all things are possible.

Father, we ask You to bless Ryan, in his search for a new job and in his personal life. May he find comfort and strength in Your love and presence. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.
