Prayer Request February 2009

Life can be pretty stressful. The things that have to and need to be done, can overshadow the many blessings, that occur throughout the day. Sometimes, we may even totally overlook them.

It would be good to set some time aside and count all those blessings, which God has given us. And let us not forget, the greatest gift and blessing of all: His Son!

Isaiah 45:6
That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other;

We would like to ask your prayers for a blessed journey home for Sarah, a sister in Christ, and her company.

They have been traveling from Montreal (Canada) to Alabama, and are about to make the long drive back.

May God bless their journey home and protect all of them on their travel. All in accordance with His will. In Jesus' precious name, we ask. Amen!

We ask you to please pray for brother Gordon, Amy's husband. He took a fall and dislocated his shoulder. Even though it has been put back in place, they are not sure how that is going to affect him. Please, also keep his other health issues in mind, for which we asked your prayers in previous posts.

May God bless him with a full and quick recovery and strengthen him and his family.

Thank y'all for praying.

We have another prayer request from a blogger buddie:

Please pray for my wife. She’s still in hospital and if she doesn’t respond to treatment in the next 36 hours the surgical options are pretty nasty. Pray for wisdom too - not sure how to respond to the ‘drug her, drug her more, ok cut her’ approach…

Thanks,

Glen

Thanks for remembering them in your prayers.

We ask your prayers for a young couple, serving as missionairies.

They met a Japanese Buddhist monk, who is on his way to do a Christian pilgrimage and they ask for prayers, that this encounter would show him their genuine hospitality and the love of Christ and discuss in more detail, what it means to follow Christ.

Thanks so much.
