Prayer Request March 2011
We have a lot to be thankful for, even though it may not always seem like it. It is very easy to get overwhelmed with all that life throws at us and get all concerned to a point where we may either be facing or battling depression.
It is at that point where we should give ourselves a time out, take some time to ourselves, and instead of looking at all the sorrow, concerns and fiery darts, find all the blessings and look at how all our needs are being filled by God.
Let's find comfort in Him and His provisions and the knowledge that God has ways of taking care of all the problems and He will, in His own time!

Tsunami alert is up in the Philippines after the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the northern part of Japan. Earthquakes are also expected to occur in the different parts of the country anytime according to the PHILVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology). Evacuations have already begun in some provinces, especially those residents living in coastal areas.
My mom has called me for like three times now in 30 minutes telling me to stay alert and be safe because I live in a high rise building.
I have a friend in Tokyo, Japan. According to her, phone lines are still dead and tremors can still be felt every now and then. We get updates from her through FB. Thank God for Facebook!
Please join me in prayer for all countries on alert for tsunamis and earthquakes around the Pacific Region.
May God watch over all those affected and keep them safe!

Dear Father God, I offer up prayer for the safety of people in Japan and for the countries bordering the Pacific region including the Philippines, New Guinea, Indonesia, and South-East Asia who are at risk of tsunamis. Lord, please protect and watch over all those affected. In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!
